New York City is a place where over 800 languages are spoken and is the quintessential melting pot. For 37 years the New York School of Urban Ministry has partnered with pastors, churches, and numerous ministries throughout NYC. The result is the training of over 150,000 urban leaders in “Hands on” compassion ministry.  NTC has been able to benefit from this work and support it for over 20 years.

During Extreme Makeover Weekend, more than 150 women from at least eight States and various parts of Canada will help NYSUM provide more than 500 cosmetic and wardrobe makeovers for homeless and battered women in New York City homeless shelters.  It is a weekend you will never forget.

This short term missions trip will cost $290/person and will cover transportation from northern NY (transportation to Massena, NY not included) and around the city, lodging, meals at NYSUM and the support to help make this ministry possible.  There are 10 spots available.
